Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chuck roast

  • 1 TBSP oil

  • 2 small onions

  • 1 dash wine or vinegar for deglaze

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1 cup stock

  • 1 TBSP soy sauce

  • 1 TBSP fish sauce

  • pinch rosemary

  • pinch thyme

  • 2 carrots

  • 2-4 potatoes

Directions

  • season and saute chuck in pan, 10min per side, then set aside

  • saute 2-3 in

  • deglaze

  • return roast to pot. close lid & cook on high 45 min

  • NR 25min

  • remove roast & cover with foil

  • submerge potatoes in liquid, stack carrots on top

  • cook 4 minutes, QR

  • Gravy - season to taste, then add 1 TBSP starch and saute until thicc
